The Niagara County Community College Board of Trustees will interview candidates for interim president Aug. 28, chairman Vincent R. Ginestre said this week.
Ginestre said the interviews will be confidential and he declined to say how many candidates are being considered as the interim successor to James P. Klyczek, who resigned under fire in April. But Ginestre said it's possible the board will vote at its September meeting to propose a choice to the State University of New York for its approval.
A search for a permanent president will follow the interim selection.
Luba Chliwniak, who had been vice president for academic affairs, became officer in charge after Klyczek's resignation.
