Town of Lockport man admits role in home invasion

Jerrod T. Robinson of the Town of Lockport, the getaway car driver in a Feb. 4 home invasion and robbery in that town, accepted a plea offer Tuesday.

Robinson, 23, of Sweetwood Drive, risks a seven-year prison term on his plea to attempted second-degree robbery. Assistant District Attorney Doreen M. Hoffmann recommended probation, but Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III made no promises and scheduled sentencing for Sept. 26.

An accomplice, Markevious K. Davis, 23, of South Street, City of Lockport, last month pleaded guilty to the same charge as Robinson. Charges remain open against Quentin Z. Gee, 38, of Laurelwood Drive, Town of Lockport. Hoffmann contends Gee robbed the resident of a Lincoln Avenue apartment at gunpoint.
