Niagara Falls police identify driver who died in crash Monday night

Niagara Falls police on Wednesday released the name of the man who died in a one-car crash Monday night at College Avenue and Hyde Park Boulevard.

Jerald P. Graff, 85, of Niagara Falls, who may have suffered a medical problem before the crash, struck a railroad signal control box and then railroad tracks before going airborne and colliding with a utility pole, police said.

The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. Graff was pronounced dead at Mount St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston.
