A person told police the teens were harassing her dog and then they displayed a gun and threatened her when she asked them to stop bothering the animal, Buffalo police said in a Facebook post.

Troy Hoffman, 17, and Mikel Ayala, 16, both of Buffalo, were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing and criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Police said officers recovered a loaded handgun and a bag of crack cocaine.
