Two men pleaded guilty in Erie County Court on Monday to a gunpoint robbery in the restroom of an Amherst restaurant last October.
Edward Burton, 26, and Deshawn Foots, 25, pleaded to robbery in the first degree for taking jewelry and cash from two men early in the morning of Oct. 15 in Denny's, 4445 Main St. near Harlem Road, according to the District Attorney's Office.
Burton and Foots both were wearing jewelry stolen from the victims when they were arrested at the scene, Amherst police said.
Burton, who was found with a loaded gun while out on bail, also pleaded guilty to second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Judge James F. Bargnesi set sentencing for Sept. 21. Assistant District Attorney James W. Mansour II prosecuted the case.
