West Seneca residents will hear an update Monday on how and why the walls at the Burchfield Nature and Art Center started sagging, making the building unsafe for people.
Forensic architect Ken Pearl will discuss his investigation at the Town Board meeting at 7 p.m.
The board is still working on its options, and is moving forward with litigation, Town Attorney John Fenz said. He also said there is no money in this year's budget to repair the building.
"It can be repaired, but it is an expensive job," he said.
The building was closed Jan. 5 when problems were discovered after hardware on some of the windows started popping off and staff had trouble opening windows.
