'I did cocaine and took some Valium,' driver tells Tonawanda police

Tonawanda City Police received a call Thursday that a motorist was “all over the road” on Young Street, and when officers went to investigate, they ended up charging a Tonawanda man with felony drug possession and unlicensed operation of a vehicle.

The vehicle was last seen on Young Street at about 1 p.m.  Officer Thomas Harmon located the vehicle in the parking lot of Tops Markets at 890 Young St. with the driver passed out behind the wheel.

Stephen F. LoGrasso, 45, of Scott Street was lethargic and dazed, according to police.

“I did cocaine and took some Valium pills,” he told officers, according to a police report.

A baggie containing 3.1 grams of cocaine was found on LoGrasso, along with Valium pills in his pockets, police said.

LoGrasso was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance/cocaine, a felony, aggravated unlicensed operation, pills not in original container and no drivers license.
