Fugitive arraigned on Niagara Falls home invasion charges

Terrill D. Pettway, who spent two months in South Carolina after being indicted in connection with a Niagara Falls home invasion, pleaded not guilty Wednesday after being extradited.

Pettway, 27, of Steele Circle, Town of Niagara, was held on $100,000 bail set by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

Pettway and Rondell V. Ralands, 28, of 38th Street, are charged with assault, gang assault and weapons possession in the alleged attack on Cyston Brundidge, the boyfriend of Ralands' sister, on Fourth Street in the Niagara Falls Nov. 25.

One of the men allegedly fired a gunshot, which missed, but Brundidge was beaten and pistol-whipped, suffering two cuts that required a total of 47 stitches to close. Jasmine N. Jones, 24, of Garden Avenue, was charged as an accomplice to the assault.
