Woman killed in Niagara Falls, Ont., crash Saturday

A 27-year-old Fort Erie, Ont., woman was killed in a crash at 11245 Sodom Road in Niagara Falls, Ont., on Saturday morning, the Niagara Regional Police Service reported Monday.

Police said the woman was ejected from a 2005 Pontiac G6 after the vehicle veered off Sodom Road and hit a tree. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second passenger, a 38-year-old man from Fort Erie, suffered minor injuries in the crash, police said.

Both passengers' names are being withheld at this time, and the collision remains under investigation by the Niagara Regional Police Services Collision Reconstruction Unit.
