Inspire Dental Group has expanded its practice to the City of Buffalo.
The practice, which has offices in Amherst and West Seneca, spent $1 million to renovate office space at 199 Delaware Ave. to create a specialty dental office that will add up to 30 jobs. The new location features 12 examination rooms and an oral surgery suite.
The new 5,000-square-foot office, which targets an underserved population near the downtown area, is between West Chippewa and West Huron streets, across from the Embassy Suites hotel in the Avant Building. It began accepting patients in June, although the grand opening was held last week.
The building, which dates back to the 1800s, has previously housed a church, the William Manson Fiske family, the Charles H. Burnett family and Gandy's restaurant.
