The Buffalo Bisons close out their homestand with a Sunday afternoon game against the Louisville Bats. Here are the deets:
Game time: 1:05 p.m. (Gates open at noon)
Weather: A picture-perfect day for baseball, according to the folks at weather.com. A mainly sunny sky. High 81.
Probables: The Bisons are scheduled to start righty Lucas Harrell while Louisville will counter with righty Jackson Stephens.
Promotions: There's a bunch of them today. The 3,000 fans through the Swan Street gate will receive a replica 1998 International League Championship Banner. It is the second in a three-part giveaway series. It's also team photo and autograph day. Fans will be allowed on the field from 12:10 to 12:25 p.m. with the entire Bisons team on the field to sign autographs. The first 500 fans on the field will also receive a 2017 team photo. And in celebration of the 30th season of the downtown ballpark, Sahlen's is offering $1 hot dogs at the concession stands throughout the game. Oh and as with every Sunday, kids can run the bases after the game.
Last game: The Bisons cranked out 12 hits but couldn't get a big inning, losing to Louisville, 5-2, Saturday at Coca-Cola Field.
