This could be the rare year the Williamsville Central School District's Wall of Fame induction ceremony could attract national attention.
I suspect it may be an extreme long shot, but the woman Ben Affleck has been romantically linked with is being honored on the wall during an Oct. 27 breakfast at the Park Country Club.
Numerous gossip reporters have romantically linked Affleck with Lindsay Anne Shookus, a 1998 graduate of Williamsville South who is being honored as an Emmy-winning producer of "Saturday Night Live." She is one of 12 alumni of the three Williamsville high schools being honored. (Full disclosure: I tweeted about the reported romance a few weeks ago.)
A full list of the inductees can be found here.
According to a People magazine story two weeks ago, "Shookus has been a rising star at SNL, starting as an assistant and working her way to the top, managing the celebrity hosts and scouting talent. (Affleck is a five-time host of SNL and last appeared on the show in May 2013.) Show creator Lorne Michaels 'loves her,' says another source."
