A girl was injured in a two-car crash Wednesday morning in the village of Silver Creek, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office said.
The incident took place at about 10:20 a.m. at Central Avenue and Hanover Street.
The driver of one of the vehicles, Robert Fisk, 87, of Silver Creek, was issued a ticket for failure to yield the right of way. He was scheduled to appear in Village of Silver Creek Court at a later date.
The driver of the other car, Christopher Conklin, 32, of Irving, was not charged. A girl in his car was taken to Lakeshore Hospital after suffering what authorities described as "non-life threatening injuries." Her name and age were not released.
