One day before the start of training camp, the Buffalo Bills announced that safety Colt Anderson won't be ready to join his teammates on the field at St. John Fisher College.
The Bills announced Wednesday that Anderson has been designated as active/physically unable to perform with a foot injury.
In 2016, Anderson signed a one-year contract with the Bills as a reserve safety and special-teams contributor. His season ended on Oct. 10, when he was placed on the injured-reserve list with a hand injury.
The Bills re-signed Anderson in January.
