Wolf Parade resurfaces for Town Ballroom performance

Montreal's recently resurfaced Wolf Parade has announced a comeback tour that includes a stop in Buffalo at 7 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Town Ballroom (341 Main St.).

The four-piece, whose members include busy musicians Dan Boeckner (Divine Fits, Operators, Handsome Furs) and Spencer Krug (Sunset Rubdown, Swan Lake, Frog Eyes), recently came out of its seven-year hiatus by announcing a new album, "Cry Cry Cry" – its first since 2010's "Expo 86." The album's first single "Valley Boy" is currently streaming.

The October date will be the band's first area appearance since performing at Babeville in November of 2008.

Tickets are $25 in advance and go on sale at noon July 28 (box office, Ticketfly or charge by phone at 877-987-6487). Further event details can be found here.
