Bisons open four-game home series with Durham

The Bisons come home from their first winning road trip of the season to begin a four-game series against the Durham Bulls. Assuming he reports in time, it should be the Buffalo debut of utility player Rob Refsnyder, whom the Blue Jays obtained from the New York Yankees on Sunday. Refsnyder has spent most of this season with Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Game time: 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6 p.m.)

Promotion: Markdown Monday.

Weather: Thundershowers are in the Monday forecast with temperatures in the high 60s around game time. High around 72.

Probables: The Bisons have not named a starter but looks like it will be spot start for somebody from the bullpen, most likely Murphy Smith who last pitched in a spot start last Wednesday in Columbus.

Last game: Sunday's 5-2 victory at Louisville gave the Herd a 5-2 record on their Western swing.

The home stand: Durham will be here for two more nights and then a 1:05 game on Thursday afternoon. It's the Bulls' only appearance here this season. Then Louisville comes in for night games Friday and Saturday and a Sunday matinee.
