Bills' Adolphus Washington pleads not guilty to concealed firearm charge

Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Adolphus Washington Monday pleaded not guilty in a court appearance in Cincinnati to a misdemeanor charge of improperly carrying a concealed weapon.

The charge is connected to Washington's July 7 arrest at a water park.

A clerk in the Hamilton County Municipal Criminal and Traffic Court said a pre-trial hearing for Washington is set for Aug. 1.

Washington is not required to appear in court, so he won't have to miss the 8:45 a.m. practice scheduled that day at the Bills' St. John Fisher training camp.
