The administrator who has been a substantial link to the city's startup community at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus is leaving for Nashville where he has family.
Vic Nole, director of business development, joined the non-profit organization's team in early 2014, focusing on growing Buffalo's entrepreneurial base and broadening strategies to support growth of companies on the medical campus. A life sciences industry executive, he previously managed a private consulting firm that focused on helping life science researchers and inventors to bring their products and technologies to market.
The BNMC confirmed Nole's departure but offered no further comment. Nole could not be reached to comment, but on his LinkedIn page earlier this week, he noted that he will become a “free agent” in a few weeks. He noted he will be transitioning to his new home in Nashville and referenced he is beginning a national search for new consulting projects in the areas of startup business design, incubator management and innovation district design/programming.
