Two new small residential projects are proposing to create 11 new homes in Buffalo.
Ellicott Development Co., owned by Carl and William Paladino, wants to put up two new attached townhomes at 55 Ojibwa Circle, in the Waterfront Village condo development.
Designed by AP Architects, the two-story brick townhomes – shorter than other three-story buildings on the site - would face the existing Admiral's Walk parking ramp and condominium building at 190 Lakefront Blvd. The project received three needed variances from the Zoning Board of Appeals on Wednesday.
Additionally, Maureen Turco of Buffalo wants to convert a former rooming house property into a nine-unit apartment building at 83 Hodge St. Turco, in her application for a zoning variance, said she wants to improve the neighborhood and bring in "more desirable tenants."
