Amann Amann - Albert "Skip"
Albert Owen "Skip" Amann, 78, of Collierville, TN, passed from this life Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House. He was born November 19, 1938 in Oriskany, NY to the late Floyd F. and Nancy Taylor Amann. Mr. Amann was a member of the Church of the Incarnation in Collierville, Knights of Columbus, working with Fishers of Men and the Madonna Workshop, Special Citizens Volunteer Police with the Collierville Police Department and the National Rifle Association. God, family,friends and community were very important to him and he was fond of saying and lived by the motto: "If you're going to do something, do it right - and do it right the first time." He is survived by his wife; Gerri, sons; David Owen Amann (Beth), Stephen Thomas Amann (Maggie), James Karl Amann (Mika), a sister; Sally Brown, brothers; Paul and Bud Amann, six grandchildren; Stephen, Matthew, Akane, Momoko, Stephanie, Kaleigh and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30am, July 21, 2017 at the Church of the Incarnation with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 AM. COLLIERVILLE FUNERAL HOME has charge of the services.
