Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies pursued a speeding motorcyclist into Pennsylvania, where he crashed on a curve Saturday morning, authorities said.
Roy Rebel Yokom of Northeast, Pa., was not hurt in the crash, according to authorities.
The Sheriff's Department reported that a deputy tried to stop Yokom for traveling 80 mph in a 40 mph zone on Route 20 in Ripley.
The motorcyclist refused to stop, according to the Sheriff's Department. The deputy pursued him into Northeast, where he crashed when he was trying to negotiate a curve on Route 426 about 11:30 a.m., deputies said.
Yokom was being held without bail in Northeast, and will be facing numerous charges in New York and in Pennsylvania, according to the Sheriff's Department.
