A trio of brothers has completed the first of three buildings in a new apartment complex in Hamburg, with plans to bring a total of 45 new housing units to a four-acre site surrounded by woods.
The 19,000-square-foot, three-story building was constructed by Best Brothers Development LLC at 4779 South Park Ave., near Southwestern Boulevard, as the first stage of The Woods at Bayview.
The 15 two-bedroom and two-bathroom apartments include a mixture of first-floor patio units and two-story upper lofts. Each 1,100-square-foot unit has stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops and hardwood floors, as well as in-unit washers and dryers, 10-foot ceilings and private entrances.
The second building is under construction by the family team, which includes project contractor Larry Best Jr., architect Joshua Best and Elliott Best, who will help run the complex. The second building will be finished by spring 2018, followed by the third next summer.
The $5.55 million project was financed by Evans Bank.
