Peyton Manning talks 'die-hard' Bills fans on 'Jimmy Kimmel'

It's a well-known fact that Buffalo Bills fans are among the most fervent in the NFL.

And legendary quarterback Peyton Manning learned that the hard way when he tried to give a game souvenir to a Bills fan.

Manning appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Wednesday night and talked about his experience with football fans.

He shared a story about playing a game in Buffalo in the middle of his career where the Bills lost. At the end of the game, he threw some gear to some appreciative Bills fans.

Then he tossed a sweatband to a kid in a Bills jersey, but it was not as well received: The kid threw it back.

Manning wasn't upset. He conceded, "I like that kid. ... I like the die-hards."
