Six State University of New York colleges and universities – including the University at Buffalo – ranked in the top 100 of Money magazine's latest edition of "Best Colleges for Your Money."
UB came in at No. 98 on the annual list, which measures schools based on 27 factors that include graduate earnings, debt, graduation rates and a "social-economic mobility index."
The top three institutions on the list were Princeton University, followed by City University of New York Bernard M. Baruch College and the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. Binghamton University was the highest-ranked SUNY institution at No. 33. Other SUNY institutions in the top 100 were Stony Brook University at No. 54; SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at No. 70; University at Albany at No. 79; and SUNY Brockport at No. 93.
Other Western New York Schools on the list of 711 were SUNY Alfred State at No. 200; Canisius College at No. 217; St. Bonaventure University at No. 337; Niagara University at No. 431; SUNY Fredonia at No. 480; SUNY Buffalo State at No. 585 and Hilbert College at No. 630.
