A Buffalo man was arrested early Sunday morning for firing a gun into a crowd of people, Buffalo police said.
Police said Kurt J. Mylers, 22, of Kail Street fired one round into a crowd on the corner of Ontario and Evelyn streets just after 2 a.m. Sunday.
He was arrested at 3:30 a.m., after police stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Vulcan and Niagara streets that matched one described in the 911 call about the shooting, police said. A Remington 12-gauge shotgun was found in Mylers' vehicle, police said.
He was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, a felony.
Police records said he was booked at 5:04 a.m. Sunday and bailed out seven minutes later.
