Ed Sheeran, James Blunt get their wing fix at Duff's before Buffalo concert

The British singer-songwriter James Blunt has made his chicken wing preference very clear.

“For me, of course, No. 1 is Duff’s,” Blunt told Gusto last week. “Super-hot is good. A little sweat is good.”

So it's no surprise he brought his band and tour buddy Ed Sheeran to a place he called "the mecca of Buffalo wings" – Duff's in Amherst – before their show Sunday night at KeyBank Center.

Sheeran opened his set talking about the Duff's visit. Blunt was Sheeran's opening act.

Ed Sheeran starts his set with Castle on the Hill and tells the crowd about his visit this afternoon to Duff's for wings!

Blunt said he and his band eat wings wherever they travel and are writing a book called "Wings of the World." He said because of his love of wings, "For me, Buffalo is the highlight of the tour."

Blunt posted a photo on his Instagram account to document the visit.
