A cash register and stainless steel refrigerator were damaged during a break-in reported over the weekend at the Canalside Pavilion, police said.
The entry was discovered Saturday afternoon and reported to police at 3:30 p.m., but detectives arriving on the scene said it already had been corrupted.
Items missing included a walkie-talkie with charging base and a credit card reader.
The total loss exceeded $250, police said.
The pavilion debuted in 2016 and features several local food and beverage vendors. In winter, it serves as a warming center for visitors to the ice rink.
