A bicyclist struck by a car Saturday afternoon in the Town of Tonawanda was in stable condition at Erie County Medical Center, police said.
The cyclist, an unidentified man, sustained a serious shoulder injury, according to a Town of Tonawanda police report.
The cyclist was riding along Tonawanda's Rails to Trails bike path around 1 p.m. when he collided with a 4-door sedan at the intersection of Colvin and Belmont avenues, Lt. Mark Shoemaker said.
The driver of the vehicle, an elderly woman, was not hurt, Shoemaker said.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
