DOT retiree should know roads cited run east-west
I read with interest the letter, “Sign will likely cause even more accidents,” from a retired New York State Department of Transportation person describing directions for the I-290/90 split area. Last I knew, both were east-west roads, not north-south, as he stated. For the average lay person, I could see where this is deceiving, but for someone who’s worked for the DOT? Interesting.
