Buffalo man pleads guilty in cocaine case

A Buffalo man pleaded guilty to intent to possess and sell five kilograms of cocaine on Wednesday, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Robert Hall, 41, could face 10 years to life in prison and a $10 million fine, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Last May, officers seized three packages of cocaine, hidden inside air purifiers, being shipped from Texas to various recipients in Buffalo, officials said. Two packages were taken into possession before delivery, officials said.

Package recipients were allegedly paid off by Hall and another person with money or crack, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

Sentencing was set for Oct. 13.
