Rocco Termini's newest redevelopment project in North Buffalo got the city Planning Board's blessing Monday, enabling him to proceed with a second business incubator project on Chandler Street.
Termini's Signature Development Buffalo LLC plans to renovate the four-story brick building at 166 Chandler, while constructing a one-story, 9,000-square-foot metal addition along one side where a wooden section burned down 12 years ago.
As part of the project, the metal building and the first two floors of the main building will house the brewing equipment, storage coolers and packaging operation for Thin Man Brewery, while the upper two floors will have startup businesses.
Workers will also reinstall windows that mimic what were originally there.
The project follows a similar venture across the street at 155 Chandler, which was already approved.
