A DWI checkpoint Sunday on Harlem Road in Cheektowaga resulted in six arrests, State Police reported Monday.
Jason M. Moser, 28, Cheektowaga, was charged with driving while intoxicated and registered a blood alcohol content of 0.18 percent, more than twice the legal limit, troopers said.
Randy E. Brooks, 57, of Buffalo, was charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Troopers said they stopped him after he attempted to evade the roadblock.
Troopers and Cheektowaga police also made four arrests for unlawful possession of marijuana. A total of 25 traffic tickets were issued during the checkpoint.
