BARGAIN TIME – St. Andrew’s Church, 111 Crocker St., Sloan, will hold an Inside Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the school building. Items include clothing for all ages, housewares, electronics, tools, sports equipment, books, games, CDs and DVDs.

Iconic grain elevators line the banks of the Buffalo River

ROLL ON THE RIVER – The Industrial Heritage Committee, which originated the historic Buffalo River tours 32 years ago, will offer its first excursion of the summer at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Independence Day. The two-hour tour leaves from the Miss Buffalo dock in Erie Basin Marina.
