June 29 WNY Driver of the Week: Jim Loffredo

Driver: Jim Loffredo.

Age: 53.

Hometown: Orchard Park.

Division: NASCAR Chargers/Holland Speedway.

Lowdown: As a driver Loffredo is a  three-time Holland NASCAR Charger champion. His entire 25-year career has been spent at Holland with an occasional visit to Lancaster National Speedway and Dragway and Lake Erie Speedway. He also is a past crew chief at Holland for the NASCAR Pro Truck teams of Bob Manko and Paul Faleski. The NASCAR Pro Truck division no longer competes at Holland as of 2002.

Accomplishments: Loffredo owns three Holland NASCAR Chargers season point titles - 2007 and back-to-back championships in 2011 and 2012. In addition, Loffredo won a pair of NASCAR Pro Truck championships at Holland, the first with Paul Faleski in 2000 and the second with Bob Manko in 2002. Loffredo has also received some specialty awards during his career, including most improved driver and sportsmanship awards at Holland.

Favorite Food: Cheeseburgers.

Favorite Music: Top 40.

Hobbies: Remodeling his house and spending time with his wife Lisa and six grandchildren with a seventh to be born in about two weeks.
