Lowdown: Jaren is the son of veteran Street Stock driver Roger Israel. The younger Israel has won many feature races and special events in his career. He was victorious for the 48th time at Ransomville when he claimed a Street Stock feature race there last Friday. The Israel family now also represents three generations of racing participation at Ransomville as Jaren's 7-year-old son Nicholas currently is campaigning in the track's Novice Go-Kart program.

Accomplishments: Jaren, who began his racing career in 2001 in the Street Stock ranks at Ransomville, is a three-time winner of Ransomville's most prestigious annual Street Stock event, the "King of the Hill," taking checkered flags in the event in 2004, 2008 and 2010. He has been triumphant with his Street Stock five times in his career at Humberstone Speedway. Jaren has won a few special awards at Ransomville over the years including best appearing car, hard luck and performance honors. Jaren's racing nickname is "Showtime".

Favorite Food: "A good summertime cookout of hot dogs, beef on wick and hamburgers."

Favorite Music: Alternative Rock.

Hobbies: Spending time with family including wife Joanne and three children, Isabella, age 12; Nicholas, 7 and Matthew, 1.
