Person jumps onto Kensington Expressway in apparent suicide attempt

A person jumped from the East Ferry Street overpass onto the eastbound Kensington Expressway Friday morning in an apparent suicide attempt, Buffalo police said.

It happened at about 5 a.m. The person, identified only as a male, survived and was taken to Erie County Medical Center.
