Mark J.F. Schroeder made his sixth “listening tour” stop Wednesday evening at the Buffalo Irish Center, 245 Abbott Road.
Schroeder, the city comptroller, has taken a page from Hillary Clinton’s 1999 statewide “listening tour” as she prepared for a Senate run. He has stopped at various forums around the city over the past several weeks to engage voters.
Schroeder has slated the sessions in various neighborhoods as part of his campaign’s emphasis on reviving sections of the city he says have been ignored by incumbent Mayor Byron W. Brown.
He will face Brown and County Legislator Betty Jean Grant in the September Democratic primary.
