McKinley Monument in Niagara Square to get a makeover

Mayor Byron W. Brown will announce on Monday afternoon a restoration of the McKinley Monument in Niagara Square, according to his office.

The $648,000 architectural restoration of the 110-year-old landmark in the center of Niagara Square will be paid for by the City of Buffalo's Arts Commission.
