Two arrested in South Dayton on child endangerment charges

Two Village of South Dayton residents were arrested by Cattaraugus County Sheriff's deputies on child endangerment charges for an alleged incident that took place on Thursday, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office.

Jerry R. Henderson Jr., 59, and Crystal A. Henderson, 53, were each charged with endangering the welfare of a child, according to authorities.

Crystal Henderson was additionally charged with harassment in the second degree, authorities said.

Both were issued appearance tickets and required to return to Village of South Dayton Court at a later date, according to the sheriff's office.
