HOT WHEELS – Ten Lives Club, the Southtowns cat rescue and adoption service, has teamed with The Motley Cruisers Car Club to present its ninth annual Cruisin' For Cats car show from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Sunset Bowling Lanes, 331 Old French Road, West Seneca.
The afternoon will include live music with Billy Dee paying tribute to Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and other legends, a food tent, cash bar, open bowling, vendors, theme baskets and raffles.
Admission is free. Donation for car owners is $10. First 50 vehicles registered receive dash plaques. Trophies for People's Choice, Best of Show and other categories will be awarded by public vote.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS – Explore nature from several angles from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday as Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve, 93 Honorine Drive off Como Park Boulevard, Depew, hosts its "Get Outdoors! Community Day."
"The event has something for everyone, whether you're loooking to try the latest outdoor trends or just enjoy a hike in the woods," says Meaghan Boice-Green, Reinstein Woods Center director.
There will be a birding challenge trail, orienteering, geocaching and nature play stations. There also will be an archery shooting range, jump roping, chalk art, balloon animals and several food trucks. Registration is not required.
