The former Kenmore Teachers Federal Credit Union on Highland will become a day care center.
The Town of Tonawanda Planning Board gave the go-ahead to plans for the 2,400-square-foot building at 258 Highland Ave.
Danielle Kinsman said her daycare business, Jumped Up Jelly Bean, has outgrown her home. She said the new site will accommodate 34 to 36 kids.
The Planning Board approved a revised site plan, but the site still needs a state environmental review.
Kinsman said she plans to open on Highland in October or November.
