An-Cor Industrial Plastics, a North Tonawanda maker of industrial equipment, will add 23 jobs as it upgrades its facilities, Gov. Andrew Cuomo's office said.
The company plans to invest $439,000 in the upgrades and will also retain 45 other jobs.
The company is eligible for $200,000 in Excelsior Jobs tax credits. An-Cor must achieve its hiring targets in order to collect those incentives.
An-Cor has a 100,000-square-foot plant on Niagara Falls Boulevard that makes fiberglass tanks, pipes, scrubbers, ductwork and stacks to handle corrosive chemicals and fumes.
Its name is derived from the "anti-corrosive" benefit of its products.
The company will expand its product line to include dual laminate tanks and pipes, requiring the purchase of new machinery and equipment. An-Cor expects to complete the upgrades in 2022.
"Small advanced manufacturing companies like An-Cor are the backbone of Western New York's manufacturing economy," said Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul, in a statement.
