If you answered yes to either question, then joining the NeXt crew would be a great opportunity for you.
HOW TO APPLY:
1. Write a letter explaining your interest in journalism and why you would like to write for NeXt. Tell us what you like or don’t like about NeXt, and what NeXt could do to attract more readers. List THREE ideas for specific stories you would like to write for NeXt. (Correspondents are paid for work that appears in NeXt.)
2. Send us your letter and a sample of the kind of writing you’d like to do for NeXt. It can be a news story, a feature story, an opinion piece, or a movie or music review. If you have never done newspaper-style writing, you can send a school essay you are proud of. If you’d like to be a photographer, send a sample of your work. Writing and photography samples cannot be returned.
