KeyCorp promoted two of its executives, Christopher Gorman and Donald Kimble, to vice chairmen, citing their contributions to completing the First Niagara acquisition.
Gorman served as the bank's merger integration executive. Before that, he was president of Key Corporate Bank. In addition to vice chairman, Gorman was named president of banking.
Kimble has served as Key's chief financial officer for four years. He will remain in that role, in addition to serving as vice chairman.
"Chris and Don have been instrumental in getting us to this point," Key CEO Beth Mooney said in a statement. "As vice chairmen, they will partner and be uniquely positioned to ensure our continued forward momentum."
