Wistful look at one of Record Theatre's final days
After word got out that the last remaining Record Theatre, on Main Street, was going to close its doors forever, the store hopped with customers looking for that record, poster or movie, thinking they may never get the chance again locally. This was on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.

With the supremacy of digital music platforms and streaming sites, record stores across the country have struggled to survive. News broke Tuesday that the final Record Theatre location in Buffalo, at 1800 Main St., would close forever in the coming weeks. The sell-off began on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
