Buffalo man paralyzed in 2011 shooting dies; death ruled homicide

The March death of a Buffalo man who was partially paralyzed in a shooting 5 1/2 years ago has been ruled a homicide by the Erie County Medical Examiner's Office, according to police.

Antonio L. Lynn, 30, died March 8. Lynn was shot in the neck by a robber Oct. 26, 2011, on Bird Avenue near Richmond Avenue. No arrest has been made.

The Medical Examiner's Office determined on May 11 Lynn's death was caused by complications from the 2011 shooting, Buffalo police said this week.

Lynn, who was 25 at the time of the shooting, had been paralyzed from the waist down, family members said after the shooting.
