Seemingly from the minute he was released by the Kansas City Chiefs last week, there has been speculation about Jeremy Maclin possibly coming to Buffalo.
Now, the wide receiver is coming to get a closer look at the Bills. Former Ch. 4 sports reporter Paul Peck reported late Monday night that Maclin was headed to Buffalo to make a free agent visit with the Bills.

Early Tuesday morning, that report was confirmed by ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Former Chiefs' WR Jeremy Maclin is scheduled to visit Buffalo today, with plans being made to visit Baltimore on Wednesday, per source.

Maclin is close with Bills running back LeSean McCoy. They spent six years together in Philadelphia, and as recently as a couple weeks ago, McCoy was a member of Maclin's wedding party.
"I think him and Sammy would do amazing work together, but it's a business so you have to figure out how it works out," McCoy said Sunday at his charity softball game. "I know he can help us out tremendously. I've been doing my recruiting already. Don't be surprised if it happens."
Maclin also has another connection in that the only wide receivers coach he's had in the NFL, David Culley, is on the Bills' staff as quarterbacks coach.
As Schefter pointed out, though, the Bills will have competition for Maclin's services, so money will be a factor.
