Traffic infractions lead to drunk driving charges

Andrew Charles Maier, 30, of Corfu, was arrested for felony drunken driving and speeding after he was pulled over on Colby Road in Pembroke by Genesee County sheriff deputies about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Sheriff's Office. Maier was charged with felony driving while intoxicated because of a previous DWI conviction, and with speeding and aggravated driving while intoxicated for having a blood-alcohol level of over 0.18 percent.

Christina June Morabito, 35, of Rochester also was arrested for drunken driving after being pulled over by Genesee County deputies on Route 33 in Bergen about 3:10 a.m. Sunday. Morabito was charged with driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher and common law driving while intoxicated. She also was charged with failure to dim the headlights of her vehicle.
