A Grand Island man was charged with driving while intoxicated after he allegedly struck two parked vehicles early Sunday on Huntington Avenue in Buffalo.
Buffalo police said when they were called to the scene at about 1:30 a.m., they found the suspect, Joshua A. Debole, 20, yelling, banging on the front door of a home and staggering. A witness told officers he had observed the suspect, while driving a Mercury Milan, strike two vehicles parked on the north side of Huntington.
Police said Debole had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath, slurred speech and bloodshot, watery eyes. Police said he failed field sobriety tests and later registered a 0.15 percent blood alcohol content.
