Buffalo man accused of death threats to woman, attacking officers

A Buffalo  man after threatened to kill a woman while standing in the presence of police and then attacked the officers, according to police.

Kenneth Kopper lunged at a woman and threatened to kill her Friday while police were present, according to a police report.

Officers attempted to restrain Kopper and knocked him to the ground after Kopper grabbed one of the officer's shoulders, the report stated. Kopper punched and kicked officers, reached for an officer's weapon and threatened to kill them, police said.

Kopper was "forcibly subdued and cuffed," the report stated. Kopper has been charged with felony assault, attempted assault, resisting arrest and obstruction.
